Knights of the XOCOMP table started as an amusing aside from Glen who claimed to be a "Squire of md3."  Well, Jeremy turned it into "Knight of the XOCOMP table."  I took the concept one step further and examined the DDM figure names.  I then use our database of local players to generate a semi-meaningful title for all of our local D&D Miniatures skirmishers.

Now don't take this personally and the titles are subject to change as are the criteria to gain such a title.  Titles can also be lost but of course we know that won't happen.

There are 3 main criteria we look at for these titles:
  • Number of Events that participated in; which comes from Wizards of the Coast's DCI website.
  • The primary state rank a player participates in according to DCI for all formats.
  • The number of formats you participate in according to DCI.

The titles criteria at the curren time are as follows:

  • Recruit = at least 1 event
  • Warrior = at least 2 events
  • Skirmisher = at least 2 events and a ranking in the top 50
  • Scout = at least 2 events and a ranking in the top 30
  • Guard = at least 5 events
  • Soldier = at least 5 events and a rankig in the top 25
  • Cleric = at least 10 events
  • Fighter = at least 1 event and a ranking in the top 15
  • Sergeant = at least 5 events and a ranking in the top 20
  • Knight = at least 1 event and a ranking in the top 10
  • Lieutenant = at least 5 events and a ranking in the top 10
  • Hero = at least1 event and a ranking in the top 5
  • Captain = at least 2 events and a ranking in the top 10 in 2 formats
  • Marshal = at least 2 events and a ranking in the top 5 in 2 formats
  • Champion = at least 1 event and a ranking of 1st in state
  • Aspect = at least 75 events and a ranking of 1st in all 3 formats

We were going to work averages, but that just doesn't work out right all the time.

Please note: many players do not have state ranks in the DCI system and this may adversely affect the resulting title.
